Meet our Founder, Dr. GERALD Onuoha II

We started EvR during a pivotal time in our nation’s history when there was a need for a deeper dive into what divides us as a country. We wanted to have conversations about inequities, racial biases, how it affected communities and what was needed to bring Americans together.

We think that a way we ensure that America prospers is through Equifuturism, and making sure that all communities have the equal opportunity to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dr. Onuoha is a Board-certified Physician in Internal Medicine, with an MS in Clinical Practice from Dartmouth College, a Medical Degree from the Meharry Medical College, and a B.S. in Physics and Astronomy from Tennessee State University.

My vision for the organization’s future is creating a platform that is instrumental in promoting a more equitable society for everybody through different initiatives and projects that align with people’s necessities.

My leadership philosophy is sub-servient leadership, I believe in getting involved in the work our team is doing, and I’m committed to its growth.

What I aim for the organization in five years is to build communities that are safe and prosperous for everybody, starting with building programs, initiatives, and businesses that bring value to all communities, break down the barriers of discrimination and lean into diverse innovation, and cultivate talent specifically in healthcare, science and technology, creativity, social justice, business, entrepreneurship and workforce development.
